Lego Robotics + Hockey Award + DIY RC Car

Entered first LEGO Robotics competition in Grade 5, learning basic programming and robot design. Won a Dedication Award in minor hockey for work ethic and commitment. Built a DIY RC car in Grade 7 using cardboard, motors, and soldering — sparking a long-term passion for electronics.

Science Award + Rube Goldberg Machine

Won the Grade 8 Science Award for creativity and problem-solving. Designed and built a Rube Goldberg machine using marbles, levers, pulleys, and timing triggers. The project taught patience, precision, and trial-and-error thinking.
